Step by step
-
NHS wheelchairs (repairs)
If your child has an NHS wheelchair, use the wheelchair service's repair route shown on the chair or service paperwork. Do not assume the council equipment team repairs an NHS wheelchair; the current North Northamptonshire page distinguishes wheelchair services from council-supplied equipment.
-
Community equipment
For council or OT-supplied equipment such as hoists or beds, contact the provider named on the delivery paperwork. North Northamptonshire currently directs replacement or repair requests for supplied equipment to Millbrook Healthcare; the responsible provider may differ in West Northamptonshire.
-
If you're unsure
Call MASH to ask who commissioned the equipment and how to reach the repairer; if safety is at risk, explain the urgency.
