Getting a wheelchair
Ask your GP or therapy team for referral to the Northamptonshire Wheelchair Service (Blatchford). NHS wheelchairs are generally for long-term mobility needs (expected >6 months).

Wheelchair repairs
Blatchford repair line: 01536 511025 (emergency out-of-hours via the same number). Email: cabsl.northamptonshirewheelchairservice@nhs.net.

Community equipment repairs
For equipment supplied via the council/NHS (e.g., hoists, hospital beds), contact Millbrook Healthcare on 0330 124 1219 for repairs/replacement. Have the equipment ID/serial number ready from the delivery sticker or paperwork.

Check who supplied it
Use the repair route shown on the chair or on the delivery paperwork. Do not assume the council's equipment team repairs NHS wheelchairs; check with the wheelchair service first. In West Northamptonshire the equipment provider may differ, so check your paperwork.
